Well, I am excited! I thought I would wait until I was closer to my departure date (which I don't exactly know yet... sometime in early January) to set up this blog, but what the hell, why not now?
I hope you all will enjoy my little descriptions about what I get up to while in East Africa this winter. I will try to keep my posts interesting, and post reasonably regularly while I'm there. No idea what kind of internet access I will have there, but I will do my best!
One thing I do know is that I will be missing my family and friends terribly, so I hope you will leave me a comment now and then and let me know what is going on in your lives - I'd love to hear about it!
I still have a few months to go before I leave, but the countdown is officially on!
Love Kiki
I am so excited for you!

Hi Kirsten!
ReplyDeleteWow! We envy you. Your blog is great. Now I also know what a blog is. Your Dad and I are leaving tomorrow on a snowmobile trip... if it weren't for that, I'd be jumping on a plane right now to come travel with you! I would probably bring Bear too. Take care of yourself! Love the Wolfgram's
Jambo Kirsten,
ReplyDeleteI work with you mother a school.
Your pictures say it all. Having been in Kenya the last two summers, mostly in Laikipia and Navasha, I know what a wonderful place Kenya can be. Your Blogs serves to make me anxious to return this summer.
I am sure you are living a life changing experience. I look forward to reading more of your Blog.
Asante sana
